Is there any way to make a bent section cut. I have a project that has two wings that are 10 degrees rotated from each other. See attached key plan.

I havent seen any parameter available for this system variable. One way to pull it off though Is make two section cuts. One section on one axes and one on the 10 degree axes. Notice the ends of the section tag allow you to flip through tail, head bubble no end etc.. well join the two sections together at the ends with the head and tail tunred off at those points. Then in your sheet drag both sections into the sheet merge the views together and this should get the desired effect. Hope that works.

That is what I am doing but I was hoping that there was a better way. This method makes the references kind of funky.

Can you briefly define which references you are having issues with through this method?

The detail bubbles are different on each end of the line.

The only solution i can find from here is 1. Use symbols as your references, yes it doesnt exactly function the way revit was supposed to be used but it can be done and this is not exactly what revit was designed for. 2.Just use two seperate sections one per each axes and then you wont have reference issues. 3.The last option maybe to put both reference view numbers in the same bubble or attach the second bubble to the first so regardless of which reference shows up they are clearly under that same view in that sheet. These may not be the only way but this is all i can suggest at this time. Edited on: Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 9:40:26 AM

- what they are saying is to make two section cuts and place them on your sheet as if they are one. On one section - don't place a view title and in plan, this view will only show the section tail - NO HEAD. For the other view, use a view title and in plan, this view will have no tail - only the head.
