Hi guys,

We dont use Revit Structure a great deal in the office at the moment but this could soon be changing. We have a job coming up where the client wants basic M&E shown on the drawings, mainly pipe runs etc. Can this be done in RS or do we need to buy RMEP?We need to be able to show pipe flanges if that makes any difference.

 Thanks

Adam

I believe you would need MEP, this im 90% sure of.However, assuming that you can load families into RS. Can you also create families in RS? If so then you could possibly make your own elements. Would require effort to get just a few basic things in there, and even then there could be other aspecs of RS restricting you from doing so.

It would be pretty bodgy - get MEP mate.

Cheers guys,

We dont really touch M&E in our office but if needs must then we'll have to get the MEP package.
