Hello, I would like ofr the bottom "indicator" of my spot eleation be just text. I do not want to see a number relating to the location of a surface. Is there a way to do this? I attempted to reach into the family to make thisrevision, but I could not locat eit. The closest I got was to editing the family of the actual target independent of any text. Any thoughts? I don't think I see the full picture. Thanks,

right over the symbol, or embeded in the family of the symbol. If the later, how do I get to the family. I can't seem to find the spot elevation family in the family list. Am I overlooking it?

Look, when I said "Use a simple Text" is just like that, Spot Elevation "catch" the elevations from surfaces (slabs, site, roofs...) if you ONLY want, and I quote "be just text" use a "Generic Annotation" for example and you have "JUST TEXT"....

Thank you for your time, and please allow me to clarify. I would like the information below the spot elevation to be text only. By default, the spot dimension tool allows one to display top and bottom or one or the other. Similarly, one can attatch a pre-fix or a suffic to the automatic heights gathered (either top elevation, bottom elevation, or both) based on where you place the spot elevation. I however am looking for a way to not include a bottom elevation and just include text that reads "T.O.Roofing" below the line (Refer to the attached .pdf for a clarification). Ideally this would be a type parameter, a "label" per-say within the family of the spot elevation that refers to a parameter called "description". I however can not locate the associated .rfa file to revise it. I do not want to have an additional piece of text over the spot elevation tag. Thanks Again Typhoon, your comments are always valued and useful.
