Hello, I am working on a roof based skylight family that I would like to be able to create a void in both the roof and the ceiling. There is an "opening" tool in the family editor for the roof based family, but I can't seem to wrap my head around having the skylight penetrate a ceiling below. I have attached teh family for your reference. Thanks,

I think you will need to create the ceiling opening from within the project. The opening tool in the family can only cut the host.
