Does anyone know how to attach a ceiling based light to a structural link?  I am using a suspended light that is ceiling based and will only attach to ceiling surfaces.  Thanks.

What you can do is create a File>NEW>Family - "Generic Model FACE Based" then import that light to the family and attach the light to the Face and locked, save with other name and Load to Project, now you can put your light where you want....

Sorry, not a ceiling light, use a "free" light then you can attach to the face family and use "COMPONENT" to load the light into the face based family...
