Im trying to change the section marks currently saved in Revit 2009. Thought I could just edit the existing system family to what I want and then it will update on future drawings. Has anyone done this before? Any tips/tricks?

Yes__ You must load the Section Head & Tail (section mark) into the Project and then apply to the System Family: Section Tag, Type... T O|D O>> Settings >> View Tags >> Section Tags >> choose your mark! VIOLA

your a star! Have now sussed it out. BTW asked Autodesk this same question, they took two weeks to come back to me and said it couldn't be done!? LOL!
