The file i was working on crashed.  I opened it back up and did a save-it crashed, i opened it again and did a save as-it crashed. I went through the back ups and they all did the same-the file works as i've opened and saved on otehr machines-just not the one i need it to.

Reinstalled several times, added patches and updates. Any ideas why this is happening?

Not sure why, but have you tried opening on another machine - purgin the file - saving - then opening again on yours? probably not going to make any difference but thought it was worth a mention!

okay so we think its fixed.

It seems that it may have been a server issue-my profile has been increased from 1gb to 5gb-and along with everything i could think of its seems to have been resolved. Pretty strange issue as the file was working and i had cleaned everything out and it was still crashing. The file size is only 7mb-which makes it even more odd. Its wasn't even a huge file.

Opened and saved several of the problem files and have been able to save and save as with no problems now.
