I created a building section on one of my plan views, but it is not showing up on my other plans. I have many other sections with no problems (as far as callouts). I checked my visibilities and still nothing.

I had this happen to me once turned out that the scale was small on some of my plans, sections do not show unless the plan is larger or you adjust the parameters of the section marker

Replying to an old thread here- incase anyone else finds it in search of an answer. It turns out that if you create a section in a 1/4" plan, it automatically sets it to "hide at scales courser than 1/4" (in the element properties). It will not show up in 1/8" plans (or anything smaller than 1/4" unless you change this parameter.

It is in the properties dialog of the view. Under the "Graphics" section is a parameter called "Hide at scales coarser than".

when you have the section selected in a view where you can see it, go over in the properties bar, in the graphics section right below "graphics display options" there's a field called "Hide as scales coarser than" and you can set that however you like.

Understand that I am responding to a 5 year old thread, but it is applicable.
I am having issues with my section tags. They were placed in a 1/4" scale plan. I learned (thank you) that the contraint of "hide at scales corser than" was set to 1/4" scale. and made the adjsutment.
I am trying to get these to show on my overall plan which is 1/8". When I toggle to hidden items, I can see them, but the option to unhide is not available (grayed out)
Can some one pelase help. Thanks

And you set the sections to "hide at scales coarser than 1/8"? If they're set at 1/4, they'll be hidden in your 1/8 plan.

Thanks for your reply.
Yes. I adjusted the Course level to 1/8"
They will now show up but are hidden and will not give me the option to unhide.
I read something about the size of the tag, but don't know if this applies?

How much work do you have in the graphics of your overall plan...?
Try this... Go to view--view templates--apply view template--(pick a default template)--apply properties--OK.
In my experience views can get legitimately glitchy. See if this brings things back.
