How do people handle scheduling new doors and windows in existing opeings in Revit? Using standard doors and windows means that precise dimensions are given for doors and windows in existing openings, whereas I need to identify they are existing and require site measurement. Andy ideas? thanks Andy Harle Revit 2009

You can filter these using either a number differential like E1,E2 or an added parameter and then schedule them seperately or just add a remark that says the dimensions for the door must be field verified.

Thanks I will look at scheduling seperately in the future. For now I have done what you suggested and put in a parameter for 'Existing door - dimensions to be site measured'
