I am trying to make a monolithic stair with 1/2' round nosing.I want the riser to be slanted and the nosing not to project. Is this possible I have tried many things.I want it to look like a concrete stair with slanted risers, then covered in carpet.thats why I want the radius. on the top. Flush to the top and flush to the face of the riser. All attempts I have made have the nosing projecting.

Make the nosing and riser as one.... it will look almost like a wedge with a rounded corner

Are you suggesting as a generic model and not within the Stair properties?

No! Make a nosing profile that includes the riser front.

I am pretty sure you are correct. Sounds like a good idea. I just cannot get it to work. I get this error message "This profile cannot be used for the front of treads. Please choose a profile composed of a closed loop of lines with exactly one lines coincident with the y-axis. This lines will define the connection of this profile to the tread." and I have tried defining the y-axis many different ways

Did you start with the profile-stair nosing template?

Thanks. Got the model to work this will do just fine for now. The only problem I see is the section will not look like carpet on ply. This is not a prioblem for me now. But is there a trick to get the section to look correct? Thanks sooo much I have spent many hours on this

Just assign the carpet to the treads and risers - leave the rest of the material concrete. Here is a crappy stair done that way. If you want the carpet as a strip in the middle, do three stairs side by side with the middle one carpet.

I had to eliminate the risers to get the round nosing
