I got a Bachelor's from USC in 94 and worked at various firms in LA doing healthcare, schools, and restaurants for 14 years.   There isn't much about AutoCad that I can't answer.  Started taking Revit classes last September and got laid off in the beginning of December.  Starting another class on Revit 2009 in a couple of weeks.

Nobody in this field seems to be hiring and I'm over-qualified to get a job doing security or working at Target.  No one's doing residential room additions (especially if they're in foreclosure).

Can anyone relate?

it's bad everywhere...just have to hang in there....I was told by an old timer..back in the day A&E's to count on 2 years bad...7 years good and that's the cycle...don't know how he got that...but he was a successful architect.... that's my two cents...no wait give me one penny back

I really want this to work...some good things some bad
