I'm having trouble finding or creating a pattern file that incorporates a sand pattern on top of a 8" x 8" tile pattern. I need to differentiate between smooth face CMU and split face CMU in elevation. Thanks for any help.

Have you tried using a Sand 'Filled Region' and setting the "Filled Region' Graphics > Background to be transparent??
