Revit 2009:

I exported the materials list to ODBC excel file.  Now each time I touch a wall, Revit spends time writing out to the excel file.  How do I make it stop automatically updating and update only when I want it to.

I deleted the materials schedule and the excel file, but it is stll crunching the numbers.
