Greetings all,

Quick questions about furniture schedules.  I'm trying to get a schedule of all furniture in every room. I've gotten it to list the furniture by room and I've included a "count" column to give me the number of each item. Unfortunately, it is working when I tell it to itemize every instance, but when toggel off that setting, it won't give me a count of each family, but rather a sum of all furniture families (another words, it doesn't distinguish 12 chairs from 12 desks it just tells me I have 24 items).  Any suggestions?....

 Thanks!

Hey go into "formatting" in the view properties of the schedule and under fields click on "Count". In the bottom right hand corner make sure "calculate totals" is checked and hopefully this will work. You also need to sort your schedule correctly for this to work.

Is the attached photo similar to what you are trying to achieve?
