Hello again, I have another question about structural members and there callouts.  The label that is automatically placed when you draw a beam displays the callout as ( W8X15 ) I need it to display as ( W8x15 ).  Is there a text file that I could edit to get the X to display in lower case as opposed to upper case.  Thank you.

Hi Ckorleski, I think I can help you.  When Revit families have a long list of types, like structural elements, they often have a linked catelog TXT file.  The trick is to find where the Revit families are located on your hardrive.  Once you find the folder full with the structural elements (......Structural\Framing\Steel) notice that each RVT file has a corresponding TXT file with the same file name.  Open up the W-Wide Flange.TXT file and change the upper case 'X' to lower.  This particular family has a large quantity of family types however any family should try to incorporate a catelog if more than 5 types are created.  If you try to create a catelog syntax is very important....    probably out of the scope of your question, just an fyi.  Hope this helps.
