I have a problem extending a wall into a roof.
There is a gable roof over the main part of the house and a second smaller gable over a cantilevered room at one end. When I extend the main wall to the roof, I am left with a triangular opening in the gable end above the roof of the smaller gable (shown as XXXX). I've tried adding a wall with a base offset to the top plate of the walls, but I can't get the siding to line up and I also end up with a line where the two walls meet. How can I fill this in?
