You can still print to PDF, the Revit PDF printer is just no longer included in the install. It's available from the Autodesk Revit Download centre should you require it. HTH.

Unfortunately, it's not there anymore either.

Apparently, due to technical complications, the 'Pine Bush' PDF writer is not being distributed with Revit Building 8. I suggest that you use 'Cute PDF' instead, and can be downloaded FOC from... http://www.acrosoftware.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp

I agree - in my opinion this is a superior (and free!) PDF driver, that works in all applications, not just Revit. I had all sorts of margin problems with the Pinebrush driver that dissappeared with CutePDF.

We use Adobe Acrobat Profession V 6.0. It just works! I hear the current V7.0 software works well also. It can create all the different sheet sizes and no one ever has a problem displaying or printing the PDF. It is “real Adobe” PDF after all. Sure it would be nice if Revit had a free tool for creating PDF but the same Acrobat tool works well with all my other software. It make PDF printing a non issue and one less thing to think about is a good thing.

I have to agree, Adobe 7 is just great! I never had to much fun with the Revit PDF writer, and I think it would be nice if Autodesk did some more work on it... will give cutePDf a go and see how it is though Winking
