Can you lock a view so nothing else can be hidden by anyone or the view range cannot be altered.

Also, I have an ongoing problem with revit changing my 3D views to this partial 'wireframe' and will not clean up by changing it to wireframe then back to shaded/hidden. Is there a regen or anything to fix this?

 Thanks Smile

Sorry ... your best bet is to use view templates but this will not stop someone from hiding in view a specific item.

I don't believe ther is anyway of locking view rangs....

Your team has to develop  "GOOD REVIT HABITS"  .. we are working on the same problem in our office ...

The partial wireframe view display is the result of a corrupt view.  Delete it and recreate the 3D view.

You cannot lock a view.  Its all staff training and people understanding the implications of their view changes..

Actually in hindsight, it is possible with worksets.  Change your username to something like "locked view" and then checkout the completed views and then close the file without relinquishing worksets.

Now unless the username is set to locked view, no one will be able to change it...
