I'm new here and also new to Revit. I am a builder from Liverpool, UK, and have just started doing my own drawings so I have quite a lot to learn and hope to be able to start picking up some great tips and helpful advice from the group here.

I did some basic stuff using Autocad before but only on a beginner level. I was going to stick with Autocad but then heard about Revit 2009 so decided to make an investment and start learning the program as I love the 3D aspect and being able to have all the views updated at the same time etc.

I have only been using the program for a couple of days now and so far enjoying using it but at the same time finding many aspects of it hard to understand and take in.

I have started to put my first house together and am now up to second floor level and will attempt to put a roof on as my next task. I'm sure I will have many questions to ask the panel here.

Look forward to picking your brains everybody.

Kirt (Revit 2009 Beginner)
