Hello! I'm new here. I hope you can help me.

I'm finding impossible to separate doors (in a door schedule) by those which are left-hand and right-hand doors.

Is it possible to do in Revit'09? Does Revit recognize which side the door opens? How?

You could try reviTTools, it's not free but can supposedly be run in demo mode without limitations.

This actually can be solved easily with a little help of Revit API. After so many years, Autodesk did not implement this option so I created custom updater which reacts on flip and mirror event on doors and windows, please read more here:

Also, notice that it saves information if element is flipped or not into "Area" parameter type. The only reason is because of groups and formulas, read more details on the link.
