I have created some walls with lots of detail sweeps including blocking, sills, baseboard, crown, top plate, ect.

This is great for my sections, but in plan, all i want to see is the stud layer for interior walls (no gyp, or baseboards). Is there a way to define the wall so that setting the detail level can turn off the gyp and base? (i can live with the gyp, but the base has to go).

thanks.

Regarding your question about finishes; I don't think there is a way to show only the stud layer. I want the same thing and maybe it will happen one day.

As for your sweeps, if you have made them as part of the wall type then you can't control their visibility. I don't know why I just know you can't. You do have the option to make them as hosted wall sweeps. This takes a lot more time but in the end you can fully control visibility.
