I have downloaded the font that we use. Now I cannot find out how to upload the font into projects. I've tried some of the ways described in others Q & A but am not getting anywhere.

fonts for Revit have to be installed into your operating system, not Revit. Normally in the control panel there is a fonts icon/utility that can be used to install fonts. HTH
