I'm struggling to figure out the solution to a relatively simple problem, and I'm hoping one of you can lead me to a brilliant, but relatively simple solution.  I want to divide a curve into parts of equal length (say, five) and can't figure out how.  I know you can use dimensions with an eq constraint to do this for straight lines, but it doesn't work as well for curves.  Please help!

I add radial lines... arrayed to get my divisions. Then delete them (or keep them if they are reference lines)

Thanks guys, that was helpful.  Arraying the radial lines is effective, but a little time-consuming.  Is there another way of going about doing this?

Seems pretty simple to me ... maybe you need some more time with arrays to be comfortable with them.

Yeah, i know it's not like Autocad when you use the "Divide" with a block but works fine, maybe in the next version they will put something like that (divide in autocad)....

Wishlist?
