How can I randomly control which sheets will appear in my sheet index? I would like to leave the "Appears in Drawing List" box checked on all sheets in my linked files and add a parameter that will control which sheets appear in my sheet index from the cover sheet file. I have already added a sheet sorting parameter, and am also using the "RVT Link: Name" parameter to filter which sheets show in the sheet index. Thanks, Kim

Say what ??? You don't want to use the built in shows on drawing list but you want to create a new one that lets you "randomly" control what shows.... First, I don't believe you mean random.... you mean your choice. It sounds like you will have to have another parameter in the linked file and your base file that you can filter with.

I would like to have multiple cover sheets in one file and have a separate sheet index for each sheet. I would also like to not have to open each linked file to check and uncheck the “show in drawing list” check box each time I need to print one of those cover sheets. I would like to control which drawings are listed from the cover sheet file. Thanks, Kim

Just to make sure I know what you are trying to do: Cover sheet 1: has sheets 1, 2, 3, 5 CS 2: 1, 3, 4, 5 CS 3: 2, 3, 4, 5 Something like that?

Yes, that is what I would like to do TJ. I had been using the "Revit Link: Name" parameter as a filter for each of the cover sheets. But I need to have a sheet by sheet parameter. Thanks, Kim
