I am doing research on Revit's usability, its pros and cons as a design tool and as a production tool, and have a somewhat long questionnaire that I have created to aid in my research. The goal is to get feedback from professionals who use Revit everyday. I am a graduate student and have already discovered how efficient it has been to use Revit for my studio projects and would love to hear your own thoughts on Revit.

1. What are your thoughts on Revit as a design tool and how would you compare it to previous software you have used?

1. How was the experience of moving from basic drafting software to a BIM Interface?

1. How effective was Revit in terms of communicating your project with other consultants (structural, mechanical)?

1. How frequently you use the interface from Revit to Autocad, or Revit to Rhino, and how effective you think it is?

1. How effective do you think Revit is in terms of time management?

1. What are your thoughts on the efficiency of the software in terms of precision of the drawings?

1. In which phase of the architectural design process you feel Revit is most powerful – (conceptual / construction documents / presentation)?

1. What are your thoughts on scheduling as a tool and how effective has it been in calculating the dollar value of several materials involved in the project.

1. How do you use a Revit project to do the energy calculations, what other kinds of software do you use to do the same? How is the compatibility of Revit with this software?

1. What is the greatest advantage of using Revit and how do you foresee it changing the way we produce drawings in the future?
