I have modeled a curved "ramp" with several different radii by sketching it as a floor and sloping the floor using point elevations.  When I attempt to host a railing to the floor it seems Revit won't allow it to host, and so I can't get the railing to slope with the floor/ramp.  Any ideas?

Working in Revit Architecture 2009 - see attached image

Got it!  This was my first project in Revit and I didn't have any direction on how to use the ramp command.  Revit Architecture 2009 will force you to have a flat landing between sloped runs of your curved ramp.  In the attached examples, I had two unique ramps to model with different radii in each ramp. I also needed to have sloped railings hosted to the ramp.  The ramp command worked, although I must say the boundary feature in the command is not very flexible.

If you have a ramp with a unique outline/boundary it may work better to create it as a floor, add points, and change the heights at the points to create your desired slope.  This method will allow your top and base points to transition smoothly at your adjacent floors.  However, I don't think you can host a railing to a sloped floor.

My wish for the ramp command: Make it like the floor command and provide hosting of rails.
