TurboSquid has opened up Revit Market, the first and only paid marketplace for Revit content. http://www.turbosquid.com/Revit We are actively seeking power users with original, quality Revit families to publish for sale. - Publish your Revit families and make 50% royalty, paid monthly. You set the price.
- All RFAs will be certified to work correctly, and customers get money-back guarantee if they don't.
- If your company owns all your families, you can open an account on your company's behalf and put royalties in a credit account. Then anyone in your company can use the royalties to buy more stuff.
Revit Market is part of a partnership with Autodesk Seek. While Seek handles free manufacturer content, Revit Market handles user-generated content. Revit Market is currently in Beta. We invite you to participate and give us your comments. Michele BousquetDirector of Marketing - Emerging MarketsTurboSquid, Inc.mbousquet@turbosquid.com

Not sure why this forum post popped up in my latest forum posts section as the last post was in 2008 but I clicked the link and found people are selling items they download from this site and complie into project.
Someone downloaded this family I uploaded in 2016 (Sliding Fence Gate and Housing)
https://www.revitcity.com/downloads.php?action=view&object_id=17561
Which was included in this collection on the site (282 Models Doors Revit 2015 3D Model)

Agreed. I made an account and put in a report stating the family in the collection was not createed by the person. I also asked for clarification on the rules for uploading to that site.
Obviously posting on here I am offering my stuff for free as I am part of the community and want to help and I don't really care about copyright.
However, I would expect a company that is supposedly affilated or has partnership with autodesk would have some sort of requirement that all families need to be created by the poster.

You are so right.
RevitCity has been a place where we 'share' freely and I appreciate that. I will try and back up your complaint with Turbosqid.
It seems that so many people have no honor and are willing to cheat wherever they can. I ban users almost daily that postlinks to sites where essays and other ways of cheating can be found.
Thanks for all of your good posts and your families.
