I need to know how other people deal with foundation walls in elevation. What is the best way to have foundation walls show as dashed in elevation? I typically use phasing and make the foundation existing and demo them in construction phase. The problem I have with this method is when the wall is cut in section it shows as demolished wall and I have to use the line tool or fill pattern to manually fix. Thanks in advance Todd

I use filled region, as solid white, and use the dashed lines for the border of the region that is underground & use the wide line for the grade.

Why demolish them... Why not just change your existing filter to show a dashed line?

Thanks for the responses. I guess I'm still having a problem though. I can not just turn existing phase to dashed because there is an existing building that needs to be shown. Maybe I'm missing something about what Mr Spot is trying to tell me. If there is an easy solution im not seeing it. Thanks again Todd
