I find myself often doing details in 3D, i'm per4plexed now because I have to insert a callout into the 3D perspective. There should be a 3D detailing tab. I'm taking the lousy CAD approach. ugh!

Hi, Do you mean a text callout? Or a detail callout? In perspective view? You have to place your 3d view on a sheet view (like paperspace, if you used to Autocad) and manually text-tag it. I think you have seen 3d text tagging of google sketch-up.
