HiUsing ‘09I have some columns all have a top offset of -250. Previously I drew some beams with Start & End Offset Levels of -250 & with the z-Direction Justification set Top & z-Direction Offset Value set to 0.Due to the fact It appears I can only set the with Start & End Offset Levels after I’ve drawn them, & I’ve I been told this may cause problems with my analytical model, I changed the settings around:Start & End Offset Levels = 0z-Direction Justification = Other, z-Direction Offset Value = -250.As you can see from the attached Jpeg, when drawing new beams in plan they don’t cut back from the columns. Well weirdly, if you look at the B11’s one end of them does, one doesn’t.When drawing them I use the TAB key to make sure it’s the column end I’m connecting to. (Is that right?)What else am I missing & need to check up on?Is the way I’m doing it the best way?Yours, confused.Dave F.
