Hi! Anyone know why the insulation tool from Revit Architecture isn't in Structure? Or am I just missing something? (RS2009  Thanks! Christopher

it might be because structural batt isn't very widely used. seriously though, i've never seen batt insulation in any structural detail on a structural sheet. Our structural engineers typically shy away from that from a liability standpoint, much less the coordination standpoint. But, in the end, can't you make your own insulation tool from repeating detail?

Well, it is often used by engineers here in Sweden  Sure we could use a repeating detail, but I think the Insulation tool is very useful, and it wouldn't be a difficult thing to build into Structure. Just a thought. Thanks anyway
