i HAVE A 3D DWG OF AN ADJACENT BUILDING. i NEED TO PUT IN IN MY DRAWING AND I WAS WONDERIND HOW i COULD TURN THE DWG INTO A RFA FILE SO THAT IT BECAME A FAMILY. IS THIS POSSIBLE? IF NOT i DO NOT WISH TO HAVE A LINKED FILE. i WANT THE BUILDING IN MY DRAWING DO HOW DO i GO ABOUT THIS?

far as i know you cannot turn you dwg's into rfa files. you can import your dwg without linking. you can also create a mass and import your 3d dwg into the mass.

SORRY I DON'T QUITE FOLLOW. YOU CAN HAVE A MASS TAKE THE SHAPE OF A 3D DWG?

you use the create mass tool and import in the 3d dwg file into the mass, then finsh the mass.
