Hi, I created a curved beam with the in-place family option categorized under structural framing, but I have a problem with the quantification. It only gives out the volume, but it doesn't give out the length as it does with the structural framing families created outside of the project. Is there any way I can get the length in the quantities? I tried by adding a parameter called length in the family, but no luck. Can anyone help?

My question is similar.. can I get the cut length of a beam in to the quantification?

Hey I got the solution...check the attachment of revit project. After creating the curved beam with In-place family, you have to add parameters such as Angle, Radius. then Length with the shared parameter with 'Length' as Type of parameter. Then give the formulae 2*3.1415*Angle*Radius/360°. Now create schedule you will get length for the arc beam. 3.1415 is value for 'pi'.
