Hi,

i have been struggling with some wall situations that revit doesnt seem to handle so well,

the image i have added illustrates.

*1* a basic problem i had,

with basic walls this isnt so bad but when would make the walls stacked walls revit wants to delete the two short parts.

*2* is totaly f* up ,

its just more or less 5 times the problem above set after each other,

i have drawn a line to illustrate what the wall should be doing.

any ideas or tips on handling situations like this?

using rac2008

does 2009 do a better job at this?

Kind regards,

D

REVIT doesn't like short walls.  There was a discussion awhile back ... maybe on AUGI.... that addressed this issue and shows how to get REVIT to clean these up correctly.  I know I copied it somewhere but ???? Try doing some searches of this forum and AUGI on wall cleanups.
