How do you group design options into one set after they've been created?

Not clear on your question but the DO's are set up into logical and separate groups almost by definition. If you are trying to get them all to show up at the same time, you would do that through your Visibility and Graphics overrides under the Design Options tab. Go through a tutorial on Design Options or do search.
