How do i get dimensions to not get shut off when cropped in a view. I have an overall dimension that goes away when the view is cropped. When uncropped the dimension comes back on. Is Revit too stupid of a software to not be able to do this.

That would be great if Revit was smart enough to allow for odd shaped crop regions but since it's too dumb to that too that doesn't work when it's at an angle. If I adjust the annotation crop region it shows more then what i want. Notice between Grids 1 and 7 the overall is gone. The one you see is from the Architectural background that is linked in and does not plot. Only way I can get it to show up is to actually draw a line, and place text. What kind of work around is that for BIM software to get dimensions to show up.

yes, there are lots of different issuses like that we all what to see addressed. make sure you submit your request to autodesk. irregular crop regions have been on the list for a while i think.  i hate work-arounds too. hopefully someone else may have soultion.
