I have loaded into one of my projects some mechanical equipment with pipe connectors.  When I went to start running the piping if I high light the equipment the pipe connectors shows up 10'-0" below the equipment.  If I adjust the level that the equipment is at it moves the connector up and the equipment stays put.  If I adjust the height offset it moves both the connector and the equipment.  I have checked the family and the connector is located where it should be in the family.  Thanks.

sounds like the connector isnt associated to the correct plane...try deleteing it and replacing it to the right one lock the plane so that it moves with the component and dont forget to remap the information through the connector.

How do you change a "generic model" family into a "mechanical equipment" family?
