I'm currently sitting here in my 3rd day of Revit training, being taught by the main Revit man Shobit Baadkar. He recommended this site as a place to look for components (currently working on an elementary school restroom).

I get the BIM stuff pretty well and I understand the "families" set-up when modeling...but man when it starts getting into the project sharing, editing, and "worksets"....WHOOSH is the sound of it all going over my head. Hopefully the CAD mangers here in our office will set things up for us easily.

Welcome to RevitCity! 

If you use the SEARCH icon located at the top of the site and try looking for Worksets, Work Sharing, etc. you'll find alot of helpful information.  We've all been there and there are many topics on those subjects.  You'd be surprised, all those things are really easy to understand once you read up on them a little.
