I would like to create a riser with a profile like the nose profile that can be selected.

Attached is a image of what i would like.

I can create profiles easy enough, but is there the option to have a riser profile? im not sure if it is something simple i've missed?

or am i just best to draft/sketch a riser on to the stair detail and forget about it in sections etc?

Any help or ideas would be great, im using 2009 Revit Structure. Thanks in advance, Dylan

Hi Typhoon,

Thanks for that, the videos are a great idea also.  (i didnt have sound on my computer, so wasnt sure if there was any, but the footage was all i needed)

I was thinking of doing something like that also, but was worried if i changed a floor hieght or something along those lines that it would effect the hieghts and position of the treads and that would leave the risers floating in mid air.

Hi, the video has sound, "I was thinking of doing something like that also, but was worried if i changed a floor hieght or something along those lines that it would effect the hieghts and position of the treads and that would leave the risers floating in mid air." - no problem because when you create the sweep you can constrain the path to the step, so they are locked to them...
