I Have created a slab edge profile using the Metric Profile-Hosted template.  This is part of a tutorial which I have used successfully before and I was working through some variations - and found that the profile will not join onto the slab as expected when using the Join Geometry tool (see image 1).  The hardcore and sand blinding layers cut into the edge profile, rather than the edge profile taking them out. The correct detail is as image 2 which was also created on v10.  The only difference in the specification betwen these 2 examples is the thickness of the slab and edge profile - I have tried repeating this with the thinner dimensions without success.  This never happened in V9.1.  Any thoughts on this would be very gratefully received.

Thanks for your reply but no - there is no repeating detail in the view.  Puting one in the view masks everything.  I can make this work 95% using Edit Cut Profile (although this still leaves an unwanted line) - but this only works for this particular view.  I have just repeated adding the edge profile to a standard unamended slab (concrete commercial 362mm) and I am getting the same result.  In 9.1 with this detail it was necesary to use the Join Geometry tool to merge the edge profile with the slab - but in v10 it looks as though this appears to happen automatically - could this be the problem?  I have tried unjoining and rejoining again but to no avail.
