Has anyone had experience/success bringing "Point cloud" / 3d laser scan data into Revit?

For example, we are starting a renovation project for a very large existing building.

There are little/no existing drawings, and the Owner has suggested having a 3d laser scan done

to document the entire existing site and building. What would the workflow be to get the scan data into Revit?

 Any help appreciated.

Cheers........
