Hi, I have imported a cad file into my project (site plan) from which I created my building and walls. When I view the 3d images in solid or hidden form the cad file shows through but not when I render the image. Does anyone know how to keep the plan showing through??

You will find that 3d linework does not render even though it shows in 3d shaded views. Imported CAD in a 3d view is just 3d linework. You might be able to import the cad as an image (jpg) if you have a surface to place it on but that may not work. You might try making something in sketchup that you trhen import.

it is Better to use revit sie wich also give the site contours if you want site or not use topography in double click vv if its not work just mail me prakshal4u@yahoo.co.in
