Hello,

Thanks in advance for the help. It is possible to create a line style to show fencing? Any help would be much appreciated.

Nick

Look in the on-line library.

Component - load - web library then under "Revit Instructions and Help Samples" goto the "Revit Samples" andd under the metric tag you will find a project with all sorts of fence samples.  Copy clip them into your project and modify accordingly.  Don't worry if they are metric.  If you edit the family, you will have to change the units .... asumming you need Imperial.

For just linework, check out this thread: http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=2927

I CREATED MY OWN LINE-TYPE THE OTHER DAY. YOUR GOING TO CREATE A 2D DETAIL COMPONENT.

CLICK FILE MENU>NEW>FAMILY

IN YOUR IMPERIAL LIBRARY OPEN UP A DETAIL COMPONENT TEMPLATE

IN THIS TEMPLATE YOU CAN DRAW AN     X ____     (OR WHATEVER YOU WANT THE LINE TO LOOK LIKE)

THEN SAVE THIS TO YOUR LOCAL DRIVE AS FENCE AND LOAD INTO THE PROJECT THAT YOU NEED IT.

GO TO THAT PROJECT AND UNDER DRAFTING TAB, CLICK REPEATING DETAIL AND CHOSE THE LINE YOU JUST CREATED

THIS SHOULD WORK, IT DID FOR ME
