Im trying to make the brackets and cabel that holds up teh cantilevered roof on my building. does anyone know how to go about making a family for that? my approach is making the brackets seperately. i have the horizontal adn the vertical. i created parameters to adjust its hieght adn sitance from one another. i need to make the cable wire part of it. i want the ends of the cabel wire to be bases at the brackets so taht when i adjust the height and/or length of the brackets from one another that the cabel wire will strecth/shrink and adjust its angle to always remain based at teh brackets. any suggestions?

Hi, in the same family you can create 2 types, 1 for Cantilevered and the second type for brackets, then create in each other a "Visibility" parameter (Yes/no) so you can control the visibility in the family what do you want to see, but if you go to the "Tutorials" from autodesk you have there a "Family tutorials" and has an example with this...
