Hey all,

I had a question on modeling an equpiment screen wall. The construction is to be a 6" CMU backup w/ a 4" brick/cmu veneer combination anchored to the backup wall. I think I figured a way to model it except for a few noticable coursing problems in the 3D and elevation where there is a masonry post and a half hieght wall to accept a Cedar Screen.

What I did was create the wall type, then split the walls at the post/low wall locations. I then offest the post walls to their designated height as the same with the half height wall then applied my modeld precast sill-cap sweeps. I then modeled a Cedar screen wall to be inserted at the low wall areas.

Since I split the walls up the coursings are a little messy.

Another way I think I will look at is creating one wall, inserting a wall opening, then inserting my precast sill-cap sweeps and Cedar screens.

I just wanted to post this up to see if anyone else has a suggestion.

See the attached PDF for reference.

Thanks!
