Hello all.....New to the Revit world here, so I'm still learning. Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated. I'm running into a couple problems in the project I'm working on in Revit Structure 2009. I'm using a linked model and trying to implement multiple beam systems of bar joists for the roof system. For some reason, I cannot get the beam systems to slope. I can get individual beams to slope. I can get the entire system to change elevations as a group, but cannot get the entire beam systems to slope. I realize that if I had the walls from the central model as well as the bearing points, it should in theory, snap to the bearing points and automatically slope. The problem is that I don't have all of the information from the central model. Is there any way to manually tell the beam system the high points and low points of the slope? Also, I can't seem to get the tags to show up in plan view. I've tried everything I can think of and all I get is a "?" for each member. Any ideas why? Thanks in advance!!!

I have been using named reference planes for all my roof slopes.
