looking for example of how to draw scaled arrowheads for detail components, or if there is a work around for turning off the text fom the text tool. appreciate the help in advance.

Detail components = model scale Symbol/Generic Annotations = print scale Text Leaders are print scale also, so if you want to match them you would need to create a parametric generic annotation family.
