Take a look at my screenshot. I cannot get this to join correctly and wrap the end of the wall. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm having the same problem. Any help would be appreciated. We suspected that it have with the wall being drawn with different location lines. For intance one wall drawn by the core and another drawn by an interior face.

interesting idea about the drawn by theory. I have yet to find a suitable fix for this. If I do I will let you all know and please do the same.

The short wall joins issue has been addressed before but I can't remember the answer. There is a video tutorial that explains how to get the joins to work that was posted here or on AUGI. Perhaps someone can find the link and post it again.

Yeah WWhub, NOW I remember what are you talking, i don't have here "jing" and Revit to make a video but it's when you pick in the wall appears the "Blue Dots" with the temporary dimensons and if you pick Or "drag" those "blue dots" you can fix the problem of those walls...

OK - attached sketch shows what I remember... REVIT seems to want to clean up the walls in a progession so work in one direction or the other.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, we followed your steps of splitting the wall but it only cleaned up one side. This problem appears to happen when a wall offset is less than the thickness of the wall. Draw order seems to play a role. We have tried to drag the blue dots to clean things up wich has worked in some instance but not others. The link mentioned earlier would be a huge help. This is our firm's first pilot Revit project. Little 'quirks' like this can make the partners and decision makers skeptical of Revit, when this prblem wouln't occur in Autocad. I am really thnkful for this forum and the help everyone supplies.

Look at all the sketches ... it cleaned up one side.... split the next wall and the other side cleans up - then rejoin that wall!

Thank you so much for your help Typhoon. Excuse my stupidity. Following your last step worked. However, having moved on, I have encountered the same problem, but the same work-around does not work. Do you know the source of the problem. Does Revit 'prefer' all walls be drawn in the same direction: ie. clockwise or counter-clockwise, with the same refrence, ie interior core face. I am trying to find the source of the prblem so I don't propogate the same 'bugs'. Thank you!

I don't see any difference if i create those walls in clockwise or counter-clockwise, with the same refrence, ie interior core face, no matter, it works fine, i did several testings and no problem at all.... it's very tricky but it works, try the WWhub way, it's faster...

I will look at the method you mention. I have several of these conditions on my plan. It seemed in that being consistant really did help eliminat many of the problems, however now I found if I cut wall openings in theese wall the prblem comes back, I fix one bump out then 2 others in the series develop the problem again. I correct it, change the opening height, the proble re-appears. I really think Revit is a great tool, but this seems like a major flaw.
