When I insert a new interior elevation tag, the default size is the room width x 0'-0".  The view shows only the grids and level, as the height is 0.  If I try to change the height, it results in an error message stating that the height needs to be a positive value.  That message repeats indefinitely, requiring a task manager shutdown of revit.  Has anyone else run into this problem?  Any solutions??  (I attached screen shots with comments)  Thank you in advance to anyone that takes the time to read this.

Ya, I use to have that happen...what version of Revit are you using?  If its automatically set at 0" and that message pops up, click ok and then immediately start typing in the number you want, don't move your mouse or click anything or else the message will pop up again.  If that doesn't work, you should be able to open up the elevation and drag the view crop up, and then you can change the size in the crop region window.
