Hello,

I have looked through some other threads on this but have not found an answer yet. RAC2009

Is there anyway to print a drawing (that has been drawn in color) in black but still show some key features in color? It is nice to be able to draw in color so that things are clearer to identify on screen, but becomes a technicolor nightmare on paper.

Yes I know that you can overide the settings and print monochrome (but no color), but this is time consuming just to print a draft copy then change it back again.

We also have a business logo that looks better in color so to print I have to overide every thing to black or grey. The only other color we use is red for notes and to indicate where a key beam may be placed in a floor plan.

Thanks in advance.

Firts, I don't know why you need so much color - this isn't cad where we needed color to identify what we were looking at.  Sounds like you still have some ACAD hangups.  Beyond that....

Your views on sheets could be set up with different VG to over-ride the colors ... could all be set up in view templates but would take some intitial setup.  If you have to work in color but want limited color output, you could use dependent views.  Full color t work in - limited color on sheets....  BUT AGAIN - What a pain!  and I don't understand - unless you are still trying to draft over your model.
